NetworkSolutions / NSI / Internic Domain Transfer Instructions

To transfer your domain name to our servers:

1.In order to transfer your domain to our servers you must have access to the
administrative email address listed for your domain name at
Networksolutions. To check what email address is listed as the
administrative email address for your domain at Networksolutions click here
to open Networksolutions whois lookup tool. Type in your domain name and
click search. Please look under "Administrative Contact:" for the email
account that is listed as the administrative contact for your domain. If you
have access to this email account please continue to step 2. If you don't have
access to this email address click here for alternate instructions.


2.The Automated Network Solutions Modification Form (this form will open
up in a new browser window so that this current window will stay open and
you can refer to the instructions below as you fill out the form) You can go
through this process again at anytime by going to
www.networksolutions.com and clicking on Make Changes at the top of the
screen.


3.On the first page, enter your Domain Name you are transferring to
SuccessfulHosting.com and click SUBMIT. ** If you SETUP AN ACCOUNT
with Network Solutions (this is different from just registering a domain name
with them), the next screen will ask you for an ACCOUNT NAME and
PASSWORD. Just fill in this information here and continue to steps 2 & 3.


4.Under the drop down menu, choose the option "Transfer my domain name to
another ISP" and click GO.


5.Click on GET INFORMATION to get your Admin or Billing email address and
fill that into where it says "Email Address:" and press "GO" at the bottom.


6.Your current domain name record will be pulled up. 

a.Scroll down to the Contact Information section and change
the Technical Assigned NIC handle to: ABE873
b.Scroll down to the Name Server Information section and
replace the information currently there our server information
(see table below).
c.Then scroll down to the bottom and press the button 'SUBMIT
THIS FORM FOR PROCESSING.'

Secondary Server Hostname:
ns2.expertinternetservices.com
Secondary Server Netaddress:
64.176.61.93


The completed template will then be e-mailed to you at the e-mail address you provided in Step 1. You must
reply to the e-mail and simply send it back to Network Solutions for processing.

You will then receive another email from Network Solutions and you will need reply and put an: M next to 0a
Auth Scheme, and a: Y next to 1a and send this. 

Your changes should activate within 2-5 days depending on how long it takes those changes to propagate
throughout the Internet. Please do not contact us asking how much longer it's going to take since we have
nothing to do with this process.

To check if it went through, you can look up your domain name in a few days and press the button to see the
WHOIS output for your domain. Once you see ExpertInternetServices.com's Nameserver addresses listed in your domain
name record, it means your domain name has started to point to our servers - but it can still take a few days for the
changes to propagate correctly throughout the Internet.
